Life Snapshots:

  • Hit in the head with a golf ball after simply following directions when someone yelled “Heads Up!”

  • Age 3-Mom turned around in our maroon station wagon and asked if I wanted to take dance lessons.

  • Played waitress at my Grandma’s apartment in Chicago with TV dinner trays and phone books as menus. Waitressing in real life was never as fun.

  • Making a music video of Prince’s Batman song with my sister as Vickie Vale, me as the Joker (Go figure), and my older bro as cameraman.

  • High School-Dancing in the pouring rain at the public storage with my mom because her hair was not frizzing after she got it straightened.

  • Junior year in college-Meeting my now boyfriend in the stands of Dyche Stadium, the vision he was and the unbelievable knowledge of finding my true love.

  • The way my little bro said my name with his huge cheeks shaking when he was 2…”A…Buh”.

  • Hanging out with my Dad at the radio station where he worked.

  • Staying up late nights with my older bro and Mom joking about each other and our lives.

  • Senior Year College-Performing Sheila in A Chorus Line…a total emotional journey.
